Our journey thus far...

Pastor Jim and Betty Williams planted Springwood House of Praise just over 10 years ago, with a vision to provide a place of worship and practical preaching for those who for various reasons were not going to church anywhere.  During these ten years, we have enjoyed many wonderful times of worship and dynamic preaching.

Pastor Jim went to be with the Lord last July, and as a church we walked through a time of mourning and change. After seeking the Lord for the future of the fellowship, Pastor Lloyd and Kathleen Williams (who had been transitioning into the role of Senior Pastors), sensed that their time in Australia had reached is fulfilment and so they returned to NZ.

Pastor Kathy Cumming felt led of the Lord to step up to the challenge of Pastoring the church, and so with the  endorsement of the church elders in January this year (2016) this is what transpired.

We walk humbly before the Lord, walking into the future, trusting the Lord every step of the way.

We welcome you to walk this journey with us.  The fields are white and ready for harvest.  Let us work while there is still light.

As the Senior Pastor of the church, Kathy is looking forward to moving ahead into the wonderful future that God has for our church.

Her vision for the church is to see people restored, refreshed and revived by the power of God in their body, soul and spirit, through anointed worship and teaching, and during their time with our fellowship.
